Aura Garrido is an Spanish actress who works on TV and film. She has appeared as an actor in Stockholm and the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido born in Madrid 1989 is a painter as well as a composer. Tomas Garrido, her father, is an orchestra conductor and composer. Her mother, Pilar Sanchez is a painter. When she took her first piano lesson at age four She began to study ballet. She is fluent in English due to her english-speaking friend as a child. Following the completion of her high school studies and enrolment at the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico, in Madrid, she took interpretation until her third year specializing in the interpretation of texts, however she pulled out of the program in 2010, after being selected for the role in Planes para manana. The film was nominated for the Goya award in the category of best emerging actress, and won the Silver Biznaga award for her performance in the film.
