Shailene is an American actress as well as activist. She became popular with her role Alexandra "Alex" King, the teen who is struggling with addiction issues in The Descendants. Shailene continued to be awe-inspiring following her highly acclaimed performance on The Descendants. Shailene was able to make her mark in the world of Hollywood at a young age throughout her career. This in and of itself is an impressive feat. Her career began by appearing in TV commercials and shows and then she shifted to Hollywood film roles.
