Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter after she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She was Alex for three of its last four seasons. Kramer was in numerous episodes as a new country artist, which allowed her debut album reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the follow-up album in 2015, was also among the Top Ten. The last decade saw she appeared on Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and several TV programs. The singer also released several singles, but they weren't albums. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to the country genre, and later went on to make a go of it as a recording artist. But, she first made an acting debut when she was a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. guest appearances in shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the next few years until she landed the part of Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the course of the show's second season, 2007-2008. Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she continued to appear until the series' final season in 2012.
