Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first five minutes. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen an unanimity loss and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's amateur career. Ladd took her bout against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. She won her next fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized the abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. She ended her fight via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina as she ground-and-pound beat her to a TKO victory in the second round. Her dominance continued and she got a bigger win when she fought Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. The winner also got an extra bonus for her performance that night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first fight she's had in a major role. Ladd took home an unanimous decision in a great back-and forth fight among the pair of fighters, got an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to end Ladd and her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya during the third round of UFC on ESPN 7. For a rematch, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
